LRSの総合スレッドです。
突然の嵐への備えを忘れずに。

LRSとはラブラブ、レイ、シンジのことで、レイとシンジのカップリングのことを指します。

・LRS以外のカプの話はスレ違いです。
・荒らし、アンチの方はお帰り下さい。お互いに不快な思いをするだけです。
・シンジとレイ（アヤナミレイ含む）以外のキャラの話は荒れるので控えめに。
・必要以上にネガティブな書き込みは止めましょう。
・他キャラや他カプの叩きは禁止です。
・それでも来た場合は徹底的にスルーしましょう（←これ重要）。相手をすればするほど荒らしは喜びます。

eva comic had been working for 18 years.
but the last was that shinji and aska become togther.
so LRS fan really feel sad now...

I know, I'm sad too.
I expected more from Rei as well. But the manga (eva comic) ending wasn't received very well by anyone (maybe except LAS?), it was so lazy.
Rei becoming snow was just really stupid, and it's not cool like in EOE where you see Rei in the final ending.
With EVA:Q, it's almost a One-Two-Punch for LRS, it's really unnecessary.
I think Rei and Shinji would have so much more to say to each other than what was in the end.
I still have hope for the future.

yea some eva fan was disapointed also with manga ending.
but specifically LRS fan was really upset because of a LAS ending.
but I think many eva fan are satisfied with a ending also, because shinji became happy.
I think eva staff tend to think shinji's partner is asuka.
so I guess shin evangerion movie might finish with LAS endling also.
but don't worry , although shinji and asuka become togther, rei was not unhappy manga's ending, i think.

I think it was less happy than EoE and TV for Rei - at least there is proof of Rei's existence and life afterwards. That's important.
Because the art was really lazy and different than the final, I don't think Sadamoto put his heart into it.

Isn't that Kaworu? Then maybe Asuka second, it's such a lonely life for Rei because of that. Are there any Rei fans at Khara/Gainax or Kadokawa at all?
What about the rest of Japan?
Shin Evangelion is bad anyway. I'm skipping the fourth movie. 3.0 wasn't very convincing, and many lost interest.
Another question, if Eva staff don't make LRS, do fans create LRS manga (doujin, coterie)? I know AIHARA OTOME(相原乙女) makes some at least.

and sadamoto is rei fan, but he is not LRS.. rei fan and LRS are equal.
LRS fan have been makking LRS doujinshi, and they might still make it,
but I think LAS fan will make a lot of LAS Doujinshi from now on.
because eva manga ending is LAS, so they can easily create LAS doujinshi.

Such meager rewards. There's a lot more than being happy in life.
Well it's over and done now, so it's better to forget about it. Truly a bitter and disappointing feeling.
Being a Rei fan and LRS fan is different, but in the manga the two were tied close together so that you
needed something meaningful for Rei to become interesting too.
In Shin Evangelion (New Movie Edition) it's of a lot worse in this regard. They set up for something nobody of them
are willing to deliver. Rei as a character ends up suffering because of it.

anno is not interested in rei, he likes asuka and misato much more than rei.
but sadamot is surely rei fan.
so when it comes to anime, rei didn't appear so much after asuka appeared.
annno often ignored rei.
but sadamoto like rei so rei apeear in manga much more often than in anime.

Anno still managed to make Rei interesting, right up to the end in the original + EOE.
Sadamoto managed to make Rei more detailed, but doesn't deliver a powerful ending for Rei, which is a shame.
Especially is it sad that Shinji and Rei didn't get to say very much at the end.

I'm also curious, is New Movie Edition Rei popular? The original Rei attracted a lot of new fans I understand, how is it for the new Rei?

With cycles of Rebirth, looping etc... I'm not fond of that idea.
To make a common timeline.

I'm only thinking of Q, not in the previous movies. (2.0, 1.0)
So only Rei in black.
In the english-speaking community there is only interest for Rei in 2.0 and 1.0.
